1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the RinggitWise mobile application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RinggitWise is a personal finance management application designed for Malaysian users. It provides budget tracking, savings goal management, AI-powered financial coaching, receipt scanning, community Q&A, and financial report generation.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Premium Subscription

RinggitWise offers free and premium tiers. Premium subscriptions are billed monthly (RM 9.90) or yearly (RM 89.90) through the App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings. You will retain access until the end of the billing period. Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase — contact us at support@ringgitwise.com.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the AI coach for purposes other than personal financial guidance
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the receipt scanner
  • Post harmful, offensive, or misleading content in the community
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
  • Use the Service for any illegal activity, including tax evasion

7. Financial Disclaimer

RinggitWise provides general financial information and tools for personal budgeting. It does not constitute professional financial, tax, or investment advice. The AI Financial Coach provides suggestions based on general knowledge — always consult a qualified financial advisor for specific decisions.

We are not responsible for financial losses arising from decisions made based on information provided by the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

The RinggitWise name, logo, and all content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by RinggitWise and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, RinggitWise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
